Barbarian Barbie

First Pathfinder campaign session today, and I’ve already drawn my character twice… watch her get killed off quickly and stupidly. Been poking at this on and off for a few days, in between the stuff I’m actually meant to be doing. Having another style crisis, wondering if I should just go headlong into digital painting. It’s where my background is, and it’s the one thing that really sucks me in. I’m just scared, I guess, because the level of skill in the sci-fi and fantasy art industry is so intimidatingly high…

I realized when I finished this that I’d kept most of my process layers that I usually merge and/or delete, so I threw together a quick process animation.
